Dr Doug Millar
Dr Doug Millar worked at Wellcome Diagnostics (now Glaxo Wellcome) in the UK on HIV and Hepatitis. He is one of the pioneers of the bisulphite genomic sequencing protocol which is the gold standard for DNA methylation and epigenomic analyses. He also co-developed a methylation based diagnostic test for prostate cancer. He integrates all of HGSs laboratory activities. He holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of London.
